Welcome to Brian Johnson's Live Brain Studio.

The purpose of this site is to feature the portfolio of my illustration work. I’ve been working as an illustrator, designer, and art director in the entertainment industry for about 10 years. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree from Otis College of Art and Design, I began creating background layouts for the animated series, “Dilbert”. I then began art directing short films and creating illustration and design work for a number of television and film projects including, HBO’s “Live From Baghdad”, Ridley Scott’s “Numb3rs”, and Michael Mann’s “Miami Vice”. Commercial clients include, the Bravo Network, Nissan, Toyota, Budweiser, American Airlines, Sprint and Comcast. Animation studios include, Sony, Starz Media/Film Roman, Frederator, and Warner Bros.
